Bagenkop

Bagenkop Port is the largest fishing port in South Denmark, home to more than 20 cutters as well as several smaller fishing vessels. Fishing, which has been the foundation of both the port and the town, remains an active part of daily life. In the vibrant port, you can watch the cutters come into dock, buy fresh fish directly from the boats, or visit the fish house for local delicacies. Bagenkop Port is an important hub for the fishing fleet.

 

In Bagenkop, we deliver through fuel facilities and truck.

Esbjerg

Since 1874, the Port of Esbjerg has served as a central hub for sea transport and trade between Denmark and the rest of the world. Today, the Port of Esbjerg has grown into an international multimodal transport center and a significant Scandinavian port with connections worldwide.

Our terminal

In Esbjerg, we operate our own terminal and primarily deliver via bunker vessels, directly from pipeline at Pier 101 and 102, or from our tank facility at Pier 7 in the “Nordhavnen” area.

Our bunker vessels operating in the Port of Esbjerg are Føniks Supporter (capacity of 375 m³), STATHAV 22 (capacity of 250 m³), Kirsten Gulev (capacity of 70 m³), and STATHAV 3 (stationary).

Frederikshavn

In Frederikshavn, we operate our own terminal, and deliveries are primarily carried out directly via pipeline at Pier 29 and 30 or by bunker vessel.

Gedser

Gedser is the southernmost point in Denmark and Scandinavia. It extends into the Baltic Sea, and at this location, the Baltic Sea is the busiest shipping lane in Denmark.

In Gedser, we operate our own oil terminal, and deliveries are primarily carried out from the tank facilities located at the quay in the fishing harbour.

About the Port of Gedser

The total quay length in Gedser Fishing Harbour is 187 meters, divided into a quay for smaller fishing vessels of approximately 62 meters and a mooring quay of approximately 12 meters. The current water depth is 4.0 meters. The Danish Maritime Authority operates a rescue station with a lifeboat located in Gedser.

Gilleleje

Gilleleje Harbour is Zealand’s largest fishing port and an important base for the Danish fishing industry. With modern facilities and a strategic location, the harbour has, over the years, attracted a wide range of fishing vessels supplying freshly caught fish to both local and international markets. Gilleleje Harbour is characterised by close cooperation with the fishing industry and continuously works to develop its services to meet the needs of the fishing fleet.

Hanstholm

Hanstholm is a fishing town in Thy with approx. 2,000 inhabitants, located in Hansted Parish. The town belongs to Thisted Municipality and is situated in the North Denmark Region. Its name originates from the fishing village of Hansted, located at the western end of the limestone cliff at the northwestern tip of Jutland.

In Hanstholm, we operate our own oil terminal, and deliveries are primarily carried out via bunker vessels or from one of the tank facilities located at Pier 23 and north of Basin 8.

The Port of Hanstholm

Hanstholm Port is one of Denmark’s largest fishing ports and a market leader in the consumption fish segment. It is home to Hanstholm Fish Auction, which ranks among the leading in Europe and handles approximately 40,000 tonnes of fish annually for customers both domestically and internationally. In addition, the port serves as a base for numerous companies within fish processing, fish export, and a wide range of maritime services. This makes the Port of Hanstholm a central part of the overall value chain within the fishing industry and its related sectors.

Hirtshals

Hirtshals is located in Vendsyssel and is a fishing town with approx. 6,000 inhabitants. The town is primarily known for its ports: the fishing harbour and the ferry port. It developed around the harbour, which was constructed between 1919 and 1931 under the leadership of engineer Jørgen Fibiger. Hirtshals is located in the North Denmark Region.

In Hirtshals, we operate our own terminal, and deliveries are primarily carried out via bunker vessels, directly through pipeline at Pier 263 or from our tank facility located at Pier 218. The bunker vessels are named Kirsten and Strømbus.

The Port of Hirtshals has a unique geographical location just 20 minutes from the main shipping routes between Europe’s west coast, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and the Baltic region, close to some of Europe’s best fishing grounds, and right at the starting point of the European motorway network.

Hundested

Hundested Harbour is a versatile port that combines functions as a fishing harbour, commercial port, and marina. Located at the entrance to the Isefjord, the harbour serves as an important link between the Kattegat and the fjord, making it a strategic hub for both commercial and recreational sailing. Hundested Harbour has a 2 nautical mile long navigation channel with a depth of 8.2 meters, allowing access for larger vessels and ensuring easy navigation around the clock.

The harbour offers a range of facilities, including engineering workshops, shipyards, and cranes, making it well-suited for vessel service and maintenance.

Hvide Sande

Hvide Sande is a fishing town in Western Jutland with nearly 3,000 inhabitants. The town is located in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality and belongs to the Central Denmark Region. Hvide Sande developed around the large lock system between the North Sea and Ringkøbing Fjord, which was built in 1931. The Port of Hvide Sande forms the core of the town, and fishing is its very soul.

However, the Port of Hvide Sande today represents much more than just filled fishing nets and the characteristic fishermen in overalls. The offshore wind industry is one of the port’s emerging business areas, helping to secure continued growth and development. Today, fishing and the construction of fishing vessels are far from the port’s only activities. Transport, tourism, and offshore operations are all business areas with significant potential.

In Hvide Sande, we operate our own oil terminal, and deliveries are primarily carried out via bunker vessels or from the tank facilities located at Pier 99 in the North Harbour and Pier 40 in the South Harbour.

The Port of Hvide Sande

The Port of Hvide Sande is a reliable partner offering first-class port and service facilities to support daily business operations. Its primary target group consists of companies engaged in commercial activities that generate freight and cargo transport. This supports maritime transport of goods, fishing, passenger transport, and other activities that require a port-side location.

In addition to being a fishing harbour, the Port of Hvide Sande also offers comprehensive port infrastructure for handling and transporting cargo and bulk materials. Furthermore, dedicated areas are made available specifically for the offshore industry.

Jegindø

Jegindø Harbour is located in the Limfjord, close to Thyholm.

The harbour has a strong connection to the local fishing industry and serves as a key base for both mussel and oyster harvesting. The three breakwaters in the harbour provide space for around 40 vessels, and there is constant activity from fishing boats bringing in the day’s catch.

Kerteminde

Kerteminde Harbour is located on the island of Funen, where fishing has been a central activity for many years.

The harbour has a long tradition as a fishing port and plays an important role in both the local business community and the Danish fishing industry.

The charming harbour, set in scenic surroundings, has a strong maritime atmosphere and attracts both commercial vessels and pleasure craft.

With its central location and strong ties to the fishing industry, Kerteminde Harbour is an important maritime hub on Funen.

Klintholm

Klintholm Harbour has, since 1911, been an important part of Denmark’s fishing industry and, with its strategic location on the route between Germany, Sweden, Bornholm, Zealand, Falster, and Lolland, serves as a maritime hub in the region.

In recent years, Klintholm Harbour has developed into an important service hub for offshore wind farms such as Kriegers Flak and Baltic 2.

Nykøbing Mors

Nykøbing Mors Harbour is an important port located on the island of Mors, combining functions as a fishing harbour and a commercial port. Its strategic location makes it a central hub for maritime activities in the area.

With modern facilities, including equipment for both fishing and the servicing of commercial vessels, the harbour supports a wide range of maritime operations.

Odden Havn

Odden Harbour is an active fishing port located at Sjællands Odde, with a strategic position near the entrance to the Isefjord. The harbour is well-equipped with facilities and offers easy navigation both day and night. Odden Harbour combines functionality with a charming maritime atmosphere, making it an important destination for the region’s maritime activities.

Rødvig

Rødvig Harbour is an active port located on Stevns, known for its combination of a fishing harbour and a marina. The southern part of the harbour functions as a busy fishing port, while the northern part accommodates pleasure boats and visiting sailors. The harbour is strategically located close to Stevns Klint and the entrance to Øresund.

Rødvig Harbour offers modern facilities, including a 7.5-ton crane and a mast crane, as well as service areas such as engineering workshops. These facilities make the harbour well-suited for both fishing vessels and other commercial ships.

Rømø

Rømø Harbour is a medium-sized port in Denmark that is continuously developing. Traditionally, the harbour has been known for shrimp fishing and the ferry route between Rømø and Sylt, but in recent years, significant investments in modern facilities have made it an attractive partner within offshore activities in the North Sea and cargo transport. With its strategic location, Rømø Harbour is particularly well-suited as a base for activities related to offshore wind farms in the North Sea.

Skagen

Skagen is located in Vendsyssel and is Denmark’s northernmost town. It has approx. 8,000 inhabitants and is part of Frederikshavn Municipality in the North Denmark Region. In Skagen, we operate our own oil terminal.

From here, we supply customers with marine fuel via our barge, GAIA NORDIC.

Strandby

Strandby Harbour is located between Frederikshavn and Skagen on the east coast of Jutland and is divided into several sections. A large fishing harbour with many locally based fishermen creates life and activity.

Our terminal

In Strandby we operate a top-modern fuel facility. The facility is strategically located by ”Industribassinet”.

Port of Strandby

The marina in Strandby offers everything a harbour should have, with space for 140 boats. Along the quays and at the end of the breakwater, there are service pedestals providing electricity and water, with water available free of charge. Toilet and shower facilities are available in the service building.

The harbour depth is 4.5 meters, and vessels can berth alongside the quay or moor port side to piles. Less than a two-minute walk from the marina, there are good shopping options and several restaurants.

Thyborøn

Thyborøn is a town in northern West Jutland. It is part of Lemvig Municipality and is located in the Central Denmark Region. The harbour is a commercial port whose history began as a fishing harbour back in 1914, driven by the determination and persistence of the local West Jutland community.

With its strategic location close to fishing grounds, neighbouring areas around the North Sea, aggregate extraction sites, and the upcoming offshore wind farms in the North Sea, the harbour has evolved to encompass four equally important business areas today: fishing, cargo transport, maritime services, and offshore activities.

In Thyborøn we operate our own terminal and supply primarily via bunker barge, directly from pipeline by quay 907 or from one of our fuel facilities located by quay 803, 804, 808, 905 and quay 501.

The port of Thyborøn

The Port of Thyborøn has a unique location, well sheltered within the Limfjord on Denmark’s North Sea coast. The harbour has an east-facing entrance, ensuring safe navigation in all weather conditions. Even in harsh weather, vessels “land” gently in the wide opening of the Limfjord and encounter calmer waters as they pass through the harbour entrances.

Årøsund

Årøsund Harbour is a charming harbour located in the southeastern part of Denmark, near Haderslev.

The harbour combines functions as a marina and a fishing harbour and is known for its maritime atmosphere and scenic surroundings.

Thorsminde

Thorsminde Harbour is an active fishing port located on the west coast of Jutland, between Nissum Fjord and the North Sea.

For many years, the harbour has been at the centre of the local fishing industry and today serves as a base for a number of commercial fishermen, particularly within the consumption fish segment. Its unique location makes Thorsminde Harbour a natural hub for fishing activities in the area, with daily activity on the quay as vessels land their catch.

The harbour offers solid facilities for both fishing vessels and service operations, and its short distance to open sea makes it particularly attractive for small and medium-sized vessels.
