Urea Solutions
for marine
Worldwide supply of Urea Solutions for marine.
Since January 1, 2021, new emission regulations, IMO Tier 3, have been enforced for all maritime diesel engines. These regulations impose new restrictions on the exhaust emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx). Urea solutions of 32.5% or 40% help engines filter out NOx particles, converting them into harmless nitrogen and water through the SCR system on board both newbuild and retrofitted vessels.
Malik Energy started supplying in 2021, our first vessel being a newbuild Norwegian trawler in Skaw, Denmark. From our first supply, we have sourced directly from production to all ports in Denmark in bulk or packed materials. Since then, our coverage has developed from being local to global. Our service level and highest possible quality is still our primary focus.
We continually review our supply chain, from a small port in Canada to a major hub in Singapore. Each supply is tailored to the specific vessel, berth, and volume. Regardless of the challenges, vessel type, supply method, or restrictions, we always strive to find the best possible solution anywhere.
By integrating into our customers' planning, Malik Energy provides essential information on availability and local knowledge, ensuring support whenever and wherever your vessels are sailing.
Malik Energy wishes to be part of your journey towards a cleaner future and we are ready to assist you.

Offshore Bulk Urea Solutions Supply at Skaw
Malik Energy now offers offshore bulk urea solutions supplies in the Skaw area, making this service available for the first time at one of the Northern Hemisphere’s most important shipping routes.
Following three years of development, the solution enables supply offshore by barge and Malik pump crew, eliminating long-standing operational constraint for vessels transiting the area.
While offshore supplies are established in other regions, its availability Off Skaw addresses a clear and sustained market demand. The service has been developed to support efficient operations in a high-traffic maritime area where flexibility and timing are critical.
